Residential Re-Pipes Tampa Florida
When you need to replace all of the hot and cold water pipes in your home, you can rely on Grable Plumbing to do the repiping job without disrupting your daily life and keeping your water turned on while we do the work.
Eighty percent of our pipe replacement work is done in the attic so most of the time, you’ll hardly even know we are there. Only at the last minute do we turn off your water to make the switch over to the new pipes.
We take great care to install the pipes in such a way that there is very little trace that any work was ever done to the home.
What Causes Pinhole Leaks ?
Some of Hillsborough County’s water has a corrosive effect on copper water pipes. This results in tiny pinholes to form along the pipe wall. Often, those leaks can be located and repaired with the aid of ultra sonic leak detection. If your home has had several pinhole leaks, it may be time to replace the entire water pipe system. This procedure is known as a “re-pipe”.
Copper vs CPVC
Lets face it, copper pipe is not a wise choice for the replacement pipe. It deteriorates over time, leaking dangerous copper oxide and solder into the drinking water.
For that reason Grable Plumbing uses CPVC pipe for it’s outstanding durability and it’s non-reactivity to our aggressive water. As a side benefit, CPVC doesn’t form condensation and is one of the quietest pipes on the market.
Our re-pipes are backed with a full ten-year warranty on the material and workmanship. And of course, your complete satisfaction.
